For sale is a rare. WALT DISNEY CLASSICS COLLECTION (WDCC). This piece is part of the. IT'S A SMALL WORLD. My wife and I bought this brand new from a collectible store while living in FL.

We have had this on display in our curio-cabinet, as IT'S A SMALL WORLD has always been our family's favorite ride. Rest assured, it comes from a smoke-free home. It is in like-new, mint condition and comes with all original paperwork including a still-sealed Certificate of Authenticity as well as original box and protective foam.

IT'S A SMALL WORLD - FLAGSHIP - #1236784. Item Dimension: 6 1/2 inches. With flying banners representing the flags of all nations, the FLAGSHIP vessel is inspired by the original poster that has drawn millions of happy visitors to what Walt Disney described as the children's world of fun, imagination and laughter.

The Flagship is composed of porcelain. For the introduction of Disney's It's A Small World sculptures, all new packaging and boxes were inspired featuring artwork reminiscent of the original attraction.

All new certificates of Authenticity were designed as well, along with its own special sealed sticker. The bottom of the sculptures bears the "IT"S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL logo.

Each sculpture also has incised production marks vs. Being incised is used when the base is too small for an imprinted mark. This fine porcelain piece has been discontinued and was retired in 10/2009. WALT DISNEY CLASSICS COLLECTION FIGURINES - The Classics Collection started in 1992 with three scenes, Bambi, Cinderella and Fantasia's Sorcerer Apprentice.

Many other series have been introduced. Some figurines are limited, and some have been retired.

Ese figurines have risen high on the secondary market and continue to do so. The figurines are made of porcelain, and the process is similar to that use to make Hummel figurines. Individual pieces are molded, put together and fired in an oven.
